I began my accounting career in 1981 with the Big 8 CPA firm of Price Waterhouse in Portland, Oregon where I provided audit and tax services to publicly-held companies like Nike and Montana Power Company and high-wealth individuals. In 1990, I founded my own accounting practice where I service clients in a wide variety of industries in southern Arizona.

I understand my role with my clients. It’s my job to solve my clients’ problems and provide creative, meaningful and insightful advice so they can achieve their financial goals. This means listening, asking questions, and being candid. And it requires the right combination of training and experience to balance their current and long-term objectives with sensitivity to financial, tax, cash flow and personal implications. We recommend and implement strategies only after careful and thorough review.

I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. I have an MBA from the University of Oregon with an emphasis in accounting and an undergraduate degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Oklahoma State University.

I am a proud father of one teenage son (Tyler) and an avid fisherman and golfer.
