Greg relocated from Pennsylvania to Arizona in 1969 and established residency in Tucson. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with high distinction. His major was accounting.

He has continued his education with training in tax compliance and tax and financial planning for businesses and high income/high net worth individuals, primarily through courses sponsored by national and state professional organizations.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as its Tax Division and Private Company Practice Section. He is also a member of the Arizona and California Societies of Certified Public Accountants, the Tax Practice Review Committee of the Arizona State Board of Accountancy, the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and the Southern Arizona Estate Planning Council.

Prior to becoming principal and sole shareholder in Gregory Blake, P.C., Greg was an employee or principal and co-shareholder in successive local public accounting firms providing a wide range of professional services to businesses and individuals. Responsibilities also included firm administration.
