The Collings CPA Firm, PLLC mission is to be the premiere source for results-oriented accounting, tax, and business advisory services to empower clients to streamline common and complex tasks in order to fulfill their organizational and individual missions, goals, and objectives.

Profiles

Paul Collings, a founding member and partner of the firm, graduated from the University of Arizona in 1990 with a degree in Finance and Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Paul’s extensive knowledge of tax and accounting issues and solutions has helped clients in diverse industries and business situations. His clients include individuals, estates, and trusts; real estate, legal, and investment professionals; manufacturing and retail companies; community health centers, crisis centers, schools, and other not-for-profit organizations. With a strong background in Information Technology, Paul also provides clients with IT solutions for networks, servers, workstations, software applications, database structuring, and reporting. Paul is committed to working closely with clients to understand their tax and accounting needs and guiding them to the optimum solutions based on his vast experience.

Gerald ‘Jerry’ Bitner is a founding member and partner of the firm. A 1966 MBA graduate of Indiana University, Jerry is a licensed CPA in both Arizona and Indiana. His career experiences include being audit manager at Arthur Young & Company, co-founding an accounting firm that then merged with a national firm, and then co-founding Bitner & Collings, PLLC. A long-standing member and former officer of the Arizona State Society of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a qualified CPA Peer Reviewer, Jerry’s tax and accounting experiences are wide-ranging. He works with clients of all types including individuals, small business owners, retail operations, corporations, employee benefit plans, community health centers, homeowner’s associations, schools and other not-for-profit organizations. Jerry has dedicated his life’s work to his clients, ensuring that their accounting and tax needs are met with excellence and a personal touch.
